Action needed for Facebook-only logins. Pokémon UNITE’s official notice says Facebook account linking and Facebook login end on Wednesday, 30 September 2026. If Facebook is the only account linked to your game data, link and test another supported method before the deadline.

This change applies globally, including players in the Philippines. It does not mean Pokémon UNITE itself is shutting down. It means Facebook will no longer be a supported way to link or enter the same play data after the cutoff.

Who needs to act

You need to act if the official client shows Facebook as your login platform and no other supported account is linked. The official notice warns that players without another linked account will be unable to access their play data through Facebook after 30 September.

If you already use Apple, Google, Pokémon Trainer Central or a Nintendo Account for the same play data, the notice says the Facebook change should not prevent continued play. It is still worth testing the non-Facebook method before the cutoff.

Check the linked-account status

  1. Open Pokémon UNITE from Google Play, the Philippine App Store or Nintendo Switch.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Select Account Settings.
  4. Review the login platform shown at the bottom-right, as described in the official notice.

Menu placement can change with an update. If the current screen differs, use Pokémon UNITE’s in-game help or official support rather than following a video that asks for credentials.

Link another supported account

Pokémon UNITE lists Apple, Google, Pokémon Trainer Central and Nintendo Account as replacement methods in its official announcement. Choose a method you control and can recover. The exact options visible can depend on device and platform.

  1. From Settings > Account Settings, choose an offered non-Facebook method.
  2. Complete the official provider’s sign-in page.
  3. Return to the title screen and choose Log Out.
  4. Sign in again with the newly linked method.
  5. Confirm that the same trainer name, progress, licenses and inventory appear.

Do not uninstall or clear app data until that test succeeds. Take a private screenshot of non-secret profile identifiers for support, but never capture or share a password, backup code, one-time code or account-recovery link.

Philippines-specific practical checks

If the linked email or phone number uses a Philippine SIM, make sure the number is active and can receive recovery messages before 30 September. A prepaid SIM that expires or is replaced can complicate recovery even though it is separate from the Facebook change.

Perform the link on a stable trusted connection. Avoid public Wi-Fi for the account change, and do not pay a social-media contact to “migrate” the account. Linking through the official client is the supported route.

Current mobile version and requirements

Apple Philippines listed version 1.24.1.1, released 3 September 2026 UTC, and an approximately 1.3 GB package. Pokémon Support lists Android 5.0 or later with an octa-core 1.8 GHz processor, 3 GB RAM and Adreno 506 or better; for iOS it lists iOS 12 or later, an A9 processor or better and 2 GB RAM. Exact-device compatibility still depends on the live store result.

Update through the official store before checking account menus. The Pokémon UNITE directory page contains the verified Android and iOS links and the same current account warning.

If the replacement login does not work

Stop after one careful retry. Record the exact error, device model, OS version, app version, trainer name and non-secret support identifiers. Contact Pokémon Support through the official site. Do not create a new profile over the old data, unlink a working method or give anyone remote access to the phone.
