Hello, Mario! is Nintendo’s simple My Mario application for young children: a child and adult can poke, pull and spin Mario’s face, trigger familiar items and play peekaboo. This page links only to Nintendo, Google Play and Apple’s App Store. WP Phone does not host an APK or repackaged child app.
Version 1.0.3 and official identity
Apple’s live Philippines metadata listed version 1.0.3, released 8 April 2026 UTC, with bug fixes. Google Play Philippines showed an Android update date of 23 March 2026. Different stores can show different rollout dates.
On Android, confirm package com.nintendo.zata and developer Nintendo Co., Ltd. On Apple devices, confirm App Store ID 6746391951 and provider Nintendo Co., Ltd. Similar face-play apps or Mario APKs from another publisher are not this Nintendo release.
Requirements and storage
Apple Philippines requires iOS or iPadOS 15.0 or later. Nintendo’s Google Play description states Android 10.0 or later. The signed-in store remains the final compatibility check for a particular phone or tablet.
Apple reported a 143,956,992-byte package, about 137.3 MiB. Leave extra room for installation and future update files. Install on trusted Wi-Fi if prepaid data is limited, then test the app before a trip.
Offline play after download
Nintendo says no internet connection is needed to play after the app has been downloaded. That makes it different from many account-based mobile games. The store is still needed for the original install and future updates, and a connection may be needed to reach outside support or policy pages.
Test airplane mode at home before relying on the app during travel. Do not substitute an unofficial “offline APK”; the official version already provides offline play.
Built-in breaks and adult choices
Mario falls asleep after a period of play and cannot be woken immediately, creating a natural break. Nintendo says this feature can be disabled from the gear menu at startup. Adults should decide that setting before handing over the device rather than treating it as a complete parental-control system.
Use the phone’s own screen-time, volume and purchase controls as needed. Supervise young children, follow the in-app Health and Safety information, and choose a comfortable brightness and viewing distance.
Shared-phone privacy and purchase checks
Install the official app from the adult’s intended Apple or Google account. Before handing over a shared phone, close private messages and payment apps, disable lock-screen previews where appropriate, and require purchase authentication for the store.
A social-media post offering a “premium Hello, Mario!” build or extra characters is not an official store route. Do not grant Accessibility, device-admin or unknown-app installation access to unlock content.
Safe troubleshooting order
- Confirm the official package or App Store ID and current version.
- Restart the app and device, then check free internal storage.
- Test touch response without a thick screen protector or wet screen.
- Review the built-in break setting and Health and Safety page.
- Update from the same official store; reinstall only if ordinary checks fail.
