Minecraft is Mojang Studios’ paid sandbox building and survival game. Mobile uses the Bedrock edition, with touch and controller support and cross-play with compatible Bedrock platforms. This updated page links only to Minecraft, Google Play and the Philippine App Store; it does not host an APK, modded client, account or Minecoin seller.

Version 26.44 and Philippines availability

Apple Philippines and Google Play listed version 26.44. Apple released it on 14 August 2026 with an approximately 1.56 GB package; Google Play showed an Android update date of 13 August. Both current notes describe various bug fixes.

The official paid listings were available in the Philippines on 28 August. Confirm the live Philippine-peso price, tax and signed-in account before purchase. A low-cost or free APK offered outside the stores is not the official paid route.

Requirements and storage

Apple Philippines requires iOS or iPadOS 13.0 or later. Google Play checks compatibility for the exact signed-in Android device and links to Mojang’s supported-device guidance instead of giving one universal current hardware specification.

The 1.56 GB Apple package is not a maximum footprint. Local worlds, Marketplace downloads, add-ons, textures, cache and update unpacking need more space. Keep a comfortable margin and back up important worlds before deleting data to solve a storage problem.

Install or update only through the official store

  1. Open Google Play or the Philippine App Store from this page.
  2. Confirm Mojang or Microsoft as the publisher.
  3. On Android, verify package com.mojang.minecraftpe.
  4. Review the paid price, age rating, data disclosures and optional purchases.
  5. Install future updates through the same official store account.

Do not install a “free premium,” unlocked Marketplace, shader patch or modified multiplayer APK. Never disable Play Protect, trust an unknown iOS certificate or give a launcher remote-control or device-administrator access.

Protect local worlds before troubleshooting

A world stored only on the device can be lost when app storage is cleared or the game is removed. Before reinstalling, check Minecraft’s world storage and export or copy important worlds using Mojang’s documented options for the current platform. Realms can help move supported worlds, but a subscription is not a substitute for confirming the copy.

Sign in with the intended Microsoft account and record non-secret world and server details. Test the backup before erasing the original. Our cache-clearing guide explains why Android Clear storage is more destructive than Clear cache.

Multiplayer, accounts and family safety

Bedrock supports cross-play with compatible Bedrock players, but Java Edition is separate. Use official parental and privacy controls for multiplayer, chat and purchases. Do not share a Microsoft password, verification code, recovery code, Realm invite intended to stay private or full receipt.

Marketplace content and Minecoins should be purchased only inside the official game or store. Confirm the account and Philippine-peso total before approval. Ignore sellers promising cheap Minecoins, rare capes, account migration or moderation removal.

Performance and update problems

Lower render distance and graphics effects if the device becomes hot or frame rate drops. Close other heavy apps and avoid long sessions while fast-charging. If an update fails, check store status, free storage and the signed-in purchase account before deleting Minecraft or its worlds.
