Pokémon Champions is an official battle-focused Pokémon game published by The Pokémon Company. Mobile players can battle Trainers worldwide, use Ranked, Casual and Private Battles, and play across supported mobile and Nintendo Switch systems. This page links only to the official Philippine stores and Pokémon website. WP Phone does not host an APK, game resources or a modified client.
Current mobile version and Philippine availability
The Philippine Apple App Store listed version 1.1.4, released 8 July 2026, when checked on 9 August. Google Play listed an Android update date of 3 July 2026; Android version numbers and staged rollout timing can differ by device. The official Apple Philippines page and Google Play route were both available during this review.
Pokémon’s official site says the mobile edition supports cross-platform battles with Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 players. It also explains that players can recruit Pokémon inside the game and bring certain partners through Pokémon HOME. Those connections should be completed only inside the official apps and Pokémon account flow.
Requirements and storage
Apple Philippines requires iOS 16.0 or later or iPadOS 16.0 or later and listed a 2.3 GB store package. Leave extra storage for installation working space, patches and downloaded resources. The final installed size can exceed the store package.
Google Play evaluates Android compatibility for the signed-in device. Because the public official material does not state one stable Android minimum for every model, WP Phone does not guess one. If Google Play marks a phone unsupported, do not bypass that decision with a mirror APK. Check the exact model, operating system, free storage and graphics capability using our mobile game compatibility guide.
Install safely
- Open the official Google Play or Apple App Store button on this page.
- Confirm the title is Pokémon Champions and the publisher is The Pokémon Company.
- Review the age rating, privacy information and in-app purchase disclosures.
- Use reliable Wi-Fi for the initial multi-gigabyte download.
- Install later updates through the same official store.
A copied installer cannot add missing device support. Avoid packages described as unlocked, unlimited, compressed or modified. Our Android safety checklist explains the warning signs.
Account, Pokémon HOME and purchase safety
Use a recoverable account and verify which account is linked before moving phones or reinstalling. Do not send a password, one-time code or recovery code to someone offering rare Pokémon, ranking help or account recovery. Link Pokémon HOME only through the official in-game and Pokémon HOME workflows.
The Philippine Apple listing shows optional membership and Battle Pass purchases. Prices and offers can change, so read the live store confirmation before paying. Use store purchase verification on shared devices and keep receipts. Never pay a social-media seller who asks to take over the account or install remote-control software.
Connection and performance preparation
Cross-platform competitive battles need a stable connection. Finish large downloads and cloud backups before entering Ranked Battles, and avoid switching networks during a match. If the phone becomes hot or frame rate becomes unstable, lower the in-game graphics setting if available, close competing downloads and let the device cool in a ventilated place.
Do not treat a VPN as a universal latency fix. It can add distance to the route or interfere with account and region checks. Start with the official client, a stable local connection and current system software.
