Dan The Man Platformer is Halfbrick’s action platformer with a campaign, survival challenges and online co-op. This Philippine guide links only to Halfbrick, Google Play and Apple’s App Store. WP Phone does not host an APK, modified client, unlocked character file or currency seller.
Version 1.14.05 and October updates
Apple’s live Philippines lookup metadata listed version 1.14.05, released 5 October 2026 UTC, with bug fixes. Google Play Philippines showed an Android update date of 2 October 2026; its current notes also say achievements now stay in sync with Google Play.
Store builds can have different labels and release dates. Use the version offered to the signed-in device. A social post promising an unreleased character, unlimited coins or an ad-free modification is not an official update.
Philippines availability, size and requirements
Both Philippine store routes were available on 14 October. Apple’s metadata reported a 156,660,736-byte package, about 149.4 MiB, and required iOS or iPadOS 15.0 or later. Keep additional room for saves, ads, events, cache and update unpacking.
Google Play makes the final compatibility decision for the exact Android device. If Play does not offer installation, do not use a mirror APK to bypass that check; an older or altered build may break achievements, multiplayer or saves.
Install the intended Halfbrick edition
- Use the Google Play or Philippine App Store button on this page.
- Confirm Dan The Man Platformer and Halfbrick or Halfbrick Studios.
- On Android, verify package com.halfbrick.dantheman.
- Review the age rating, advertising, privacy and purchase disclosures.
- Install later updates through the same signed store account.
Halfbrick also publishes Dan The Man Classic as a separate listing. Its access model and identifier differ. Match the exact edition before paying and do not assume content transfers between the two apps.
Offline campaign versus online features
Google Play labels the game for offline play, and Halfbrick’s listing says the game can be played offline. Online co-op, cloud-save options, advertisements, achievements, purchases and updates still depend on a connection. Test the campaign before a trip rather than assuming every mode will work.
Before changing phones or clearing app data, open the current settings and confirm the save or account option actually present. Record any non-secret player or support identifier privately. A store receipt does not by itself prove that every local unlock is synced.
Performance, age rating and purchase checks
The App Store currently rates the game 12+ and lists cartoon or fantasy violence and loot boxes among its advisories. Families should review the live rating and random-item disclosure, then require purchase verification for any optional item.
If action slows during a long session, pause downloads, let a hot phone cool and test without screen recording or overlays. Do not install a booster that requests Accessibility, VPN, device-administrator or remote-control access.
See Fruit Ninja for another Halfbrick game, or compare Cut the Rope in the Philippines classic-games checklist.
Quick verdict
Dan The Man fits players who want compact platform action with an offline campaign and optional online co-op. Install the exact official edition, keep spare storage, verify the supported save path and approve purchases only in the platform checkout.
