Monster Hunter Now adapts Monster Hunter battles to a location-based mobile game. It uses the real-world map, GPS and short hunts. This page links only to the official game site, Google Play, the Philippine App Store and the official support center.

Version and Philippine store check

Apple Philippines listed version 125.0, released 27 July 2026, and a 223.8 MB store package. Google Play’s public listing showed an Android update on 9 June 2026. Both routes were available during the 9 August review.

The store package excludes some map cache, downloaded assets and seasonal data. Leave extra storage and finish major downloads before joining a timed hunt.

Official supported devices

Monster Hunter Now Support lists Android 9 or later on a 64-bit, Play Protect-certified device, a Snapdragon 855-class processor, at least 3 GB RAM, GPS and a preferred 720×1280 resolution. It warns that Snapdragon 855-level performance can still lag and suggests lowering graphics or using a stronger device.

For Apple, current support lists iPhone X or later, iOS 15 or later, GPS and a strong connection. The Philippine store page may show a lower iOS floor, but the current official support page is the safer operational requirement. Tablets, rooted or jailbroken devices and beta operating systems are not supported.

Location and real-world safety

Stay aware of traffic, private property, weather and the surrounding area. Do not look at the phone while driving or enter an unsafe location to reach a monster or gathering point. Review background-location and Adventure Sync permissions and disable features you do not intend to use.

Busy areas can create GPS drift and network congestion. A hunt can be interrupted when the connection changes, so avoid switching between weak Wi-Fi and cellular data during combat.

Performance preparation

  • Use the Low graphics setting if battles stutter.
  • Disable 60 fps during hunts on a phone that overheats or drops frames.
  • Close heavy background downloads and other location or sleep-tracking apps.
  • Keep the device ventilated and take a break if it becomes hot.
  • Download official assets in advance on trusted Wi-Fi when the game offers that option.

Account and purchase safety

Use the official sign-in flow and protect the connected Google or Apple account. Never share passwords or verification codes with sellers offering gems, spoofing, automated hunting or account recovery. Location falsification, modified clients and bots can also violate the game’s rules.

Confirm the live Philippine-peso total before buying, keep the store receipt and use in-game support for missing items. For broader protection, see our account security guide.
