Once Human is NetEase’s multiplayer open-world survival game for mobile and PC. Players explore, build a territory, collect resources and fight unusual creatures in a post-apocalyptic setting. This page links only to NetEase and the official Philippine stores. WP Phone does not host an APK, resource pack, private server or modified client.
Current version and Philippines availability
The Philippine Apple App Store listed version 1.0.42, released 11 August 2026, when reviewed on 13 August. The store package was 3.9 GB and required iOS or iPadOS 12.0 or later. Google Play showed an Android update date of 4 August 2026. Both official store routes were available in the Philippines during the check.
Version numbers and staged delivery can differ between Android devices and accounts. Confirm the live store result before troubleshooting, and do not use a mirror to force an update.
Plan for a much larger installed size
The 3.9 GB App Store package is not the final footprint. NetEase’s official mobile launch FAQ recommends reserving 25–30 GB if downloading all game content and says partial downloads are available. Leave additional working space for installation, cache and later patches. A nearly full phone can fail during unpacking even when the first download appears to fit.

Compatibility checks
Apple’s Philippine listing requires iOS or iPadOS 12.0 or later, but demanding 3D gameplay can still perform differently across supported models. On Android, Google Play provides the decisive device-specific compatibility result. NetEase has published processor and device guidance and notes that mobile optimization continues; use its latest official requirements rather than an unofficial phone list.
If the store says the device is unsupported, do not sideload a package. An APK cannot add missing graphics support, memory or thermal capacity. Check the exact model and free storage with the compatibility guide.
Install safely
- Open the official Google Play or Philippine App Store link.
- Confirm the title is Once Human and the publisher is the NetEase entity shown by the store.
- Review the current age rating, data-safety disclosure and in-app purchases.
- Select only the in-game resources needed first if storage or data is limited.
- Install future patches through the same official store and client.
Reject any package offering unlimited Crystgin, an anti-ban tool, modified damage, offline servers or a compressed full client. Do not disable Play Protect or install an unknown certificate, VPN profile or device-management profile for a game download.
Cross-platform progress and account safety
NetEase’s mobile launch FAQ states that mobile and PC support cross-platform data sync. Before switching devices or platforms, confirm that the same supported account and the intended server or scenario are selected. Keep the original device until the expected character and progress are visible.
Never share a password, one-time code, recovery code or full purchase receipt with someone offering account recovery, server transfer or discounted currency. Use in-game support if the character is missing. Do not create another character or purchase until the correct account and region are confirmed.
Performance and updates
Start with a conservative graphics preset, especially on an older supported phone. Download resources before joining friends, stop background backups and avoid charging through a demanding session if the phone becomes hot. If the device dims, throttles or shows a temperature warning, stop and let it cool in a ventilated place.
Large seasonal updates can exceed the store delta after resources are unpacked. Read the official update notice and in-game download size, then keep enough free space for both the download and installation process.
