Pokémon Friends is The Pokémon Company’s puzzle game about solving daily brainteasers, collecting yarn and making plush Pokémon. This page links only to the official Pokémon site, Google Play and the Philippine App Store. It does not host an APK, unlocked-DLC build, save file or copied game data.
Version 1.1.5 and Philippines availability
Apple Philippines listed version 1.1.5, released 25 February 2026 UTC. Google Play Philippines listed an Android update date of 18 February. Both official Philippine store routes were reachable on 10 September.
The mobile edition is free to start with optional downloadable content. Android and iOS build timing can differ, so use the version offered to the signed-in device. The Nintendo Switch edition has different paid content and its save data cannot be transferred to or linked with the mobile edition.
Requirements, RAM and storage
The official FAQ requires iOS or iPadOS 16.0 or newer or Android 9.0 or newer and recommends at least 3 GB of RAM. It also warns that some devices may be unsupported or unstable even when the OS requirement is met.
Apple Philippines listed an approximately 580.4 MB package. Leave more room for save files, downloadable content and temporary update files. RAM and storage are different: deleting files will not increase RAM, though severely low storage can still prevent launching or updating.
Install the official mobile edition

- Install future updates through the same official store account.
The official FAQ says modified devices may fail to start the game. Do not install an APK that promises unlimited puzzles, free DLC or restored deleted saves, and do not disable device security to bypass compatibility.
Internet and offline limits
The mobile version requires an internet connection when starting, but the official FAQ says most play can continue offline afterward. Launch successfully before a trip, then reconnect before updating, restoring purchases or moving a save. Mobile data charges may apply.
If the title screen shows an error, first confirm the app is current and retry on a stable connection. If the game closes, free some storage, close unusually heavy apps and restart the device before considering a reinstall.
Save transfer is not an ordinary cloud login
Pokémon Friends does not link mobile game data to a social account or email. To move saves, the official app generates a Transfer ID and Transfer Code from Settings > Transfer Save Files. Version 1.1.0 or later and a stable connection are required.
Enter the transfer information on the new device promptly and treat the code like a secret. After transfer, the save no longer works on the old device. The official FAQ says deleted mobile saves and transfer information generally cannot be recovered, so do not uninstall first. Follow our new-phone save checklist before starting.
DLC and family save slots
The game supports up to five save files on one device. Name or identify each slot clearly before a child or another family member plays. Avoid deleting an unfamiliar slot: the official FAQ says accidentally deleted mobile save files cannot be restored.
Purchased DLC may need to be restored from the in-game Shop after a transfer. The FAQ warns that transferring between different operating systems or Apple/Google accounts can cause purchase information not to carry over automatically. Confirm the intended store account, keep receipts and use the official restore control before buying again.

For a transfer, purchase or launch problem, use the contact route linked from the official Pokémon Friends FAQ. Provide the error screenshot, device, OS and app version, but redact Transfer Codes, passwords, one-time codes and payment credentials from public posts.
