Pokémon Quest is GAME FREAK’s expedition role-playing game with cube-shaped Pokémon, touch battles and a customizable base camp. The Pokémon Company publishes the mobile release. This page links only to Pokémon, Google Play and Apple’s App Store; WP Phone does not host an APK, modified save or purchase bypass.
Current mobile version records
Apple Philippines listed version 1.0.7, released 23 June 2022, and a 320.8 MB package. Google Play showed an Android update date of 15 October 2025. Both current store records describe minor bug fixes rather than a new region or generation.
The dates differ because each platform maintains its own delivery record. Use the version offered by the official store to the signed-in phone. A newer-looking APK filename on an unrelated site is not evidence of an official update.
Requirements and Philippines availability
Pokémon Support lists iOS 9 or later and Android 4.4 or later. It also warns that iPhone 5 and other devices not compatible with iOS 11 may not work properly, and that Android devices with less than 2 GB RAM may fail even if installation is offered. Meeting the listed minimum does not guarantee every device configuration.
The official Philippine App Store page showed peso-priced optional purchases, and both Philippine store routes were live during the 22 September review. The store package is not the entire working footprint; leave room for saved data, cache and temporary update files.
Install only the official mobile release
- Open Google Play or the Philippine App Store from this page.
- Confirm The Pokémon Company as the store provider.
- On Android, verify package jp.pokemon.pokemonquest.
- Review the live age rating, privacy information and in-app purchase disclosures.
- Test the free features on the device before buying an expedition pack.
A save editor or modified APK can overwrite progress or expose the phone. Do not disable Play Protect, install an unknown certificate or give remote-control access to someone offering items.
Back up the local save before deleting the app
This game needs special care because Pokémon says mobile play data is saved locally. Deleting the app deletes that save. The official backup feature creates a player-chosen Backup ID and a generated Backup Key; create them on the old device before reinstalling or transferring.
Pokémon Support says the ID and key remain valid indefinitely, but only the last backed-up state can be restored. A transfer overwrites any save already on the destination phone, the old device cannot continue with the same data, and another transfer is blocked for one day. Nintendo Switch and mobile saves are not compatible.
Store the Backup ID and Key in a password manager or another protected offline record. Do not post a screenshot or send the key to someone claiming to check a team. See the transfer-code safety guide before changing phones.
Connection and purchase checks
Pokémon warns that poor connectivity during server communication, including purchases, can cause problems. Use a stable connection for backup, transfer and checkout. If a purchase does not appear, restart the app and the device on a stable connection before attempting another payment.
Confirm the destination save and Philippine-peso total before paying. Keep the official receipt. Support may need the non-secret Support ID and device details, but no legitimate helper needs the Backup Key, store password, one-time code, wallet PIN or full payment-card image.
The Philippines storage and data checklist also applies when planning downloads on a prepaid connection, even though Pokémon Quest can play some content offline.
