Pokémon TCG Pocket is the official mobile card-collecting and battle game published by The Pokémon Company. This updated Philippine page links only to Pokémon, Google Play and Apple’s App Store. WP Phone does not host an APK, card database, modified client, currency seller or account marketplace.
Version 1.7.2 and current store content
Apple Philippines listed version 1.7.2, released 3 September 2026, with bug fixes. Google Play showed an Android update date of 1 September 2026. Current store material highlights Team Rocket content, the sharing feature and broader trading eligibility, including some recent booster-pack and higher-rarity cards.
Events and eligible cards can change. Check the live in-game News, Trade and Share screens rather than relying on an older list or screenshot. Install the platform build offered to the signed-in device; do not sideload a file to force version parity.
Requirements and Philippines availability
Pokémon Support recommends an iPhone X or later, iOS or iPadOS 15 or later and at least 3 GB RAM. For Android, it recommends Android 7.0 or later, a 64-bit device, Vulkan support, at least 3 GB RAM and Snapdragon 845-class or similar GPU performance.
Pokémon warns that the app is not guaranteed to work on every device meeting those figures. The Philippine App Store displayed a 769.8 MB package and local-peso purchases. Card art, event data, cache and update working files need more storage. Both Philippine store routes were live during the 22 September review.
Install and update safely
- Use the official store buttons and confirm The Pokémon Company as the provider.
- On Android, verify package jp.pokemon.pokemontcgp.
- Check the live age rating, random-item disclosure and in-app purchase details.
- Complete downloads on a stable trusted connection.
- Confirm the linked save before reinstalling or clearing app data.
A modified client promising packs, Poké Gold or altered battle results can expose the device and account. Do not install an unknown certificate, disable device protection or share a sign-in code.
Link the correct save before changing phones
Pokémon Support says saves can be linked to a Nintendo Account, Google Account or, on iOS, an Apple Account. Players below a certain age may be limited to Nintendo Account. On the new device, use the account already linked to the intended save.
Check the profile before confirming; multiple saves cannot be merged. Store credentials and one-time codes are not transfer help. The transfer-code safety guide explains which details can identify a profile and which can unlock one.
Plan storage and prepaid data
Finish the store update and any in-game resource delivery before a ranked match. Measure initial downloads separately from ordinary play, pause unrelated updates and avoid switching networks mid-match. The Philippines digital card-game checklist provides a repeatable storage and data test.
If a match disconnects, Pokémon Support says the reconnection window is around 120 seconds. Reopen the official app promptly on the same stable network; do not install a booster or VPN in the middle of troubleshooting.
Purchase, trade and share safely
Before buying Poké Gold or a premium pass, confirm the active save, product, renewal terms and final Philippine-peso amount. Keep the platform receipt. Pokémon says spent Poké Gold and other items cannot be restored when used by mistake.
Trading and sharing happen through in-game features. Another player does not need your account password, linked email code or device access. Review Trade History and Share History if a card count looks lower, and use verified support for unexplained activity.
