Free Fire is Garena’s mobile battle-royale shooter. This refreshed page separates the store version from Garena’s newer OB55 service notes and links only to Garena, Google Play and the Philippine App Store. WP Phone does not host an APK, modified client, account, cheat, skin tool or unofficial top-up.
Apple version 1.130.1, OB55 and Philippines availability
Apple Philippines listed version 1.130.1, released 5 August 2026 UTC, with an approximately 1.45 GB package. Google Play listed an Android update date of 4 August. Both Philippine store routes were available on 12 September.
Garena published official OB55 patch notes on 10 September 2026. Those notes describe the returning NARUTO SHIPPUDEN content, Battle Royale and Clash Squad changes, and additional weapon adjustments scheduled for 1 October. OB55 is a patch name, not a store build number. Use the version offered to the signed-in device and expect staged timing.
Current mobile compatibility
The live Philippine App Store requires iOS or iPadOS 12.0 or later. Google Play performs the final Android device check; the current public listing does not publish one universal Android OS, RAM or chipset minimum. Do not replace that live result with an old requirement copied from a forum or APK page.
The Apple store package also excludes every map, event resource, cache and temporary update file. Keep several gigabytes free before the OB55 rollout. Meeting the OS baseline does not guarantee smooth performance on every processor, graphics chip or storage configuration.
Install and update only through official routes
- Open Google Play or the Philippine App Store from this page.
- Confirm Free Fire and the Garena publisher identity.
- On Android, verify package com.dts.freefireth.
- Review the current data, voice-chat and in-app purchase disclosures.
- Return to the same official store for the OB55 client update.
Garena’s official anti-hack guidance says to download Free Fire from authorized app stores and warns that unauthorized APKs or modified clients can lead to bans. If another player receives OB55 first, wait for the official store rollout rather than using a mirror.
Protect progress before the patch
Before clearing storage, reinstalling or changing phones, open the current official client and inspect the account and recovery controls it actually provides for your region. Confirm the intended player name, ID and server and verify that the linked sign-in method still works. Do not assume an unlinked guest profile can be reconstructed from a screenshot or receipt.
Garena’s official patch notes describe recovery-email controls in supported regions. Use only options visible in the current client, and protect the connected Facebook, Google, Apple or other platform account with a unique password and its strongest available verification. OB55 download and performance checks
Before updating, finish the current match, connect to stable power without overheating, confirm storage and use one reliable network. Do not clear app data to force the patch. After installation, let official resource downloads complete before joining ranked modes.
Start with a conservative graphics and frame-rate preset if the device heats or drops frames. Close unusually heavy background apps and avoid demanding play while fast-charging. A VPN or unknown booster cannot add missing RAM or graphics support.
Event, purchase and top-up safety
The OB55 notes include time-limited collaboration content and Prime Diamond changes. Read the dates and eligibility shown in the live client before spending. Future adjustments dated 1 October should not be treated as active early merely because they appear in the patch notes.
Use only in-game billing or a channel Garena explicitly links. Confirm the active account, item and Philippine-peso total before paying and keep the official receipt. Ignore social pages promising free Diamonds, early OB55 files or guaranteed collaboration rewards.
Official support
For update, account or delivery problems, open customer service from the official game or current Garena site. Provide the player ID, device, OS, app version, local time and a redacted order reference. Never give a password, one-time code, QR approval, recovery link or remote-control access.
