Genshin Impact is HoYoverse’s open-world action RPG for Android and iOS. This updated WP Phone page uses only HoYoverse, Google Play and the Philippine Apple App Store. It does not host an APK, private-server client, modified package, account or currency generator.
Version 7.0.0 and Philippines availability
The Philippine App Store listed app version 7.0.0, released 11 August 2026. Apple showed a 3.71 GB store package. The official Philippine App Store and Google Play routes were live during the 16 August review.
Android build numbers and rollout times can vary by device. Use the version shown inside the official client and signed-in store rather than a number copied from an APK site. If an update appears stuck for many players, check HoYoverse’s official notices before reinstalling.
Current mobile device requirements
HoYoverse’s Version 7.0 preview lists Android support at 64-bit ARMv8-A, Android 10 or later, 4 GB RAM or more, and a Snapdragon 660 or Helio G88-class processor or above. The recommended Android target is Snapdragon 855, Dimensity 1000 or Kirin 980 and above, 6 GB RAM, and Android 12 or later.
HoYoverse also identifies compatibility risks for certain older GPU architectures and some chips using Mali-G52 MP2, Mali-G57 MP-series or Imagination BXM graphics. Matching a marketing model name is not enough; check the exact chipset and the live Google Play compatibility result.
For iOS, the Version 7.0 notice supports iPhone 8 Plus or iPhone X and later, or listed iPads beginning around A12-class hardware, with iOS 14 or later. Although the Philippine App Store metadata exposes iOS 13 as its store minimum, follow the stricter official Version 7.0 device-and-OS baseline for gameplay compatibility.
Storage and safer updating
The 3.71 GB Apple package is not the full playable size. Maps, voices, quests and temporary unpacking space make the installed requirement much larger. Read the current pre-download or in-client prompt, keep substantial headroom and use stable Wi-Fi when possible.
Do not delete the existing client simply to create temporary space unless the account link is confirmed. First remove unneeded photos or offline media, restart the phone and update through the same official store. The large-game update checklist covers safer sequencing.
Performance and heat controls
Start with the automatic graphics preset. Reduce frame rate, render resolution, shadows or effects one step at a time if the device overheats or becomes unstable. Avoid demanding play while fast-charging, in direct sun or under bedding, and stop if the battery swells or the phone gives a temperature warning.
A “Genshin booster” asking for Accessibility, device-administrator control, a VPN or an unknown certificate is not an official requirement. It cannot repair an unsupported GPU and may expose account or screen data.
Account and purchase safety
Confirm the supported HoYoverse account link before clearing data or moving devices. Keep the non-secret user ID and server for support, but never share a password, recovery code, one-time code or session token. Use only the in-game support center or a route linked from HoYoverse’s official site.
Buy Genesis Crystals and other items only through the official client or a purchase route explicitly approved by HoYoverse. Verify the server, account and Philippine-peso total before payment. Avoid account sellers and “free Primogem” pages that request login credentials.
