Sonic Boom Dash is SEGA’s endless runner with Sonic, Tails, Amy, Knuckles, Shadow, Vector and Sticks, plus Sprite companions and rotating challenges. It was long listed and supported as Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom; the current Philippine store title is Sonic Boom Dash. WP Phone links only to SEGA and the official stores and does not host an APK, unlocked save or ad-removal patch.
Version 3.25.0 and the current name
Apple’s live Philippines metadata listed version 3.25.0, released 19 October 2026 UTC, with bug fixes and refinements. Google Play Philippines showed an Android update date of 15 October 2026. The support center still says Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom, but the package and store ID identify the same game.
On Android, confirm package com.sega.sonicboomandroid and developer SEGA. On Apple devices, confirm App Store ID 968744559 and provider Sega America. Do not confuse it with Sonic Dash Run, Sonic Dash+ or Sonic Forces.
Requirements and real storage
Apple Philippines requires iOS or iPadOS 15.0 or later. Google Play gives a compatibility result for the signed-in Android phone rather than one universal current Android minimum. Trust the live store result for that exact model and software build.
Apple reported a 367,397,888-byte package, about 350.4 MiB. Leave extra internal space for environments, characters, Sprite data, events, cache and update unpacking. A temporary update copy can need more room than the download itself.
Install the official edition
- Open Google Play Philippines or the Philippine App Store from this page.
- Confirm SEGA, the package or App Store ID and the current title.
- Review the live advertising, purchase and privacy disclosures.
- Install later builds through the same store account.
- Use the official SEGA support section for problems.
A page using the older Sonic Dash 2 name is not automatically fake, but an installer outside SEGA’s store routes is not verified by that name. Avoid “all characters,” infinite Rings, score automation and removed-ad packages.
What offline play does and does not mean
Google Play labels the game as supporting offline play. That is useful for basic runs after a complete official installation, but it does not promise that every live challenge, advertisement, purchase, support request or future asset works without data.
Before a commute, open the current build while online, let pending assets finish, then test a short run in airplane mode. Reconnect before changing phones, clearing app data or expecting event progress to synchronize.
Protect local progress
The checked official support section does not publish a universal cross-platform transfer promise for the current build. Do not assume that a Sonic Dash Run recovery method also applies to Sonic Boom Dash. Before deleting, record the visible player or support identifier and check the in-game settings for the exact linked account shown on that phone.
If a new installation opens at the tutorial, stop before spending or overwriting anything. Contact SEGA through the game’s support route with the old device, platform, approximate last play date and redacted store receipts if purchases are relevant.
Ads and optional purchases
SEGA’s listing says Sonic Boom Dash is ad-supported, no in-app purchase is required to progress and an ad-free option is available. Confirm the active profile, product, renewal or one-time status and Philippine-peso total in the platform sheet.
Do not install a DNS profile, certificate or patched client to remove ads. If a payment completes but the item does not appear, keep the official receipt, restart once and contact SEGA or the store rather than paying again.
Performance and motion controls
Fast 3D motion and tilt sections can expose heat or sensor problems. Remove a thick case temporarily, stop charging, close screen recording and let the phone cool. If tilt feels wrong, disable rotation lock only if the game needs it and recalibrate using the phone maker’s official instructions.
